A front-desk point of sale that works offline, online booking for clients, an app for each technician, and payroll from recorded sales. It is built to work alongside the cash, card and mobile-pay workflows a salon already uses.

Today: Shipped. Card payments go through a processor; ViaVela never holds card numbers.

How we build: tools that tell the truth.

These are release standards. Each product has to meet them in its own runtime before we say it does.

Honest by default
Real data, or an explicit loading, empty, error or not-yet state. Never a success message over a no-op, never sample numbers presented as live.
Security you can audit
Clear role boundaries, useful audit evidence, processor-hosted payments. We describe our practice as NIST-aligned and claim no certification we do not hold.
Local-first where it matters
When the work needs continuity, the core runs on the device. Connected features are labeled and fail plainly when the connection is gone.
AI assists, a person decides
Where a product uses AI it drafts, ranks and suggests. The clinician, the technician, the owner decides, and the screen says which is which.

Our mission is to build software designed to help independent salons, shops and clinics run their day (bookings, checkout, schedules, payroll) without asking the business to change how it works. The software adapts to the craft, never the other way around.

Our vision is a world where the best tools are not reserved for chains and franchises: where a single-chair salon runs on software as dependable as any enterprise's, owns its own data, and never builds its business on rented ground.

Founder-built

ViaVela is a founder-led studio with one standard: software that tells the truth. Real numbers or an honest “not yet,” never a fake success. The founder still reads every bug report.

Every agreement we ask a customer to accept is published here in full, per product and jurisdiction, with its status stated. Drafts are labeled as drafts until counsel has reviewed them.
